Networking with other women in tech has been empowering, providing support and mentorship. Overall, my experience has highlighted the importance of inclusivity in tech, motivating me to advocate for more female representation in engineering.
4) Can you tell me more about your career path so far?
I’ve participated in several projects, collaborating closely with designers and QA teams to refine our apps based on user feedback. This role has also involved troubleshooting issues and implementing updates, which has sharpened my problem-solving skills.
Additionally, I’ve taken part in code reviews and learned about agile methodologies, enhancing my teamwork and project management abilities. Overall, this year has been a steep learning curve that solidified my passion for app development and set a strong foundation for my career.
5) What has been your most challenging experience as an engineer?
This situation required extensive collaboration with the team, long hours, and effective communication to keep everyone aligned. I learned the importance of staying calm under pressure, prioritizing tasks, and thinking creatively to troubleshoot problems. Ultimately, we resolved the issue and delivered the project on time, which reinforced my resilience and ability to adapt to high-stress situations.
